Well, good keyboards are expensive. :-(

Yes, both laddieAlpha and DL+ work fine. I've used both Prolific and
FTDI USB->rs232 adapters and they both work equally well with no
extra drivers needed. 

The only difference between the adapters seems to be that the FTDI
adapter has a *really bright* blue LED that shines right in my eyes
when I'm trying to type on the Model 100! :-)
