Here some "Thinking before coffee" but...

Has anyone connected a Raspberry Pi Zero to the option ROM socket?

The Raspberry Pi Zero is one of several flavors of the Raspberry Pi
ARM computer. The notable thing about the RPi Zero is that it is
extremely flat and measures only 65mm by 30mm (about 2.5 inches
by about 1.2 inches).

A quick google search found several projects where people "connected"
a Raspberry Pi (not a Raspberry Pi Zero) to a Model T over a serial port,
and one where they gutted(!) the Model T and put a Raspberry Pi in its
place (internally) but I could not find one where the Model T is unmodified
and a Raspberry Pi is acting like an EPROM in the option socket.
The RPi zero has a number of GPIO pins...

Has anyone tried this, or is there a good reason why you couldn't connect
up the GPIO pins through a mess of wires to the appropriate option
ROM socket pins? Are the GPIO pins electrically incompatible with
the option ROM pins?
