Hi Kurt,

I also use Eagle Pro for all my PCB CAD work though it is an older version.
I love it. It seems more intuitive for me. The trial version will do PCBs
up to about 4" x 4" if memory serves. Try it. There is a bit of a learning
curve and I have had to create a bunch of parts over the years, but all in
all I love the way the program is laid out and how it all works together.
Have a try. It's called CadSoft Eagle Pro. Oh wait a minute. Autodesk
bought Cadsoft. Here is the link to the free version.

Autodesk has changed the free version board size to 80cm^2, 2 signal layers
and 2 schematic sheets. In the trial version I used back in the day, I
could only lay out parts within the predefined limits for the board size,
BUT I could route to a slightly bigger board size. So see if this will fit
your needs. You can contact me anytime for help if you like. I'm on Skype
as well. Have Fun exploring PCB design. Take care my friend.

Subject: [M100] OSHPark design tool

I'm trying my hand and reproducing the OPTROM board I have here for 27C256
EPROMS and I may look into one that will support 27C512 EPROMS with a
switch. For those who have done this, I wanted to ask which CAD package you
prefer when sending to OSHPark.
