For those interested, I just put version 2.0 of mComm for Windows into the members file area. mComm 2.0 New features are the ability to load any CO file into your laptop through BASIC, and a very simple Gopher client which I will probably expand upon when I get the chance. There is one other feature that I should mention. The ability to force a port into the com port drop down list. This is an untested feature but I was asked to put it in for a possible Linux/Mono install. To use it, you create a text file called PORTS.DAT with each port you want to add on a separate line. I have no clue if this will work under Linux but it's there for those who want to play with it. That's all for now guys. If you find any quirks let me know. Though I may not have much time to tweak anything until I'm settled into the new job.
And once again.........I need the RAM versions of SARDINE. I have the 200 version and I think John found the 100 version so that will be added at some point. But I also need the NEC 8201a version, so please check your piles of old floppy disks. Kurt
