Mike, I have not really thought about it. I just submitted a V2 board that cleans up the barnacles needed on V1, and once that is confirmed good in about 3 weeks, I was thinking just to post all the info so it can be built by anyone, like REX.
The BOM cost is quite a bit higher. The CPLD is 5$ and the 2MB SRAM is around 15$ - 30$. Large SRAM is not cheap. I designed it to use either 1 or 2MB 3.3V 8x / 16x SRAM. I have about 100 SRAM chips between the following parts list on hand, so I designed around them. CY62157EV30LL-45ZXI TSOP-48 3.3V 1MBx8 512Kx16 SRAM TC55VBM416AFTN-55 TSOP-48 3.3V 2MBx8 1MBx16 SRAM (used in ReMem) TC55W800FT-55 TSOP-48 3.3V 1MBx8 512Kx16 SRAM Still, REXCPM is much easier to build and install than ReMem, so it is a good step forward for CP/M. > > On Wed, Nov 22, 2017 at 7:47 PM, Mike Stein <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Sounds great! >> >> Any rough idea of a price point? >> >> m >> >
