Yup, the green wires are standard, as are the mods around the cassette port.

As Josh suggests, it's easier to assemble face down; watch out for the reset
button!

Good luck!

  Subject: [M100] Re-assembly of 102... again

Ok, I'm about ready to go Office Space on my Tandy 102. I've taken it apart a
while back to remove the NiCd battery, and had a hell of a time putting it back
together. Thought it worked fine, but now that I got a REX and have started
playing with it, something was off - the entire keyboard was bowing, etc. Took
it apart again, and now I just can't make it fit at all...

  Here is what's happening:

  1. I have the motherboard laying nice and flat, and it appears to fit well.
All switches are properly aligned. The motherboard does have a thick green
cable on the back - is that original? (Picture attached)

  2. The LCD fits into two holes on left and pegs on the right - appears to be
correct.

  3. The keyboard... If I just lay it flat, with no support, it has a pivot
point around the middle, length-wise. I can put the top case on it, and it more
or less fits, but the bottom of the keyboard has too much give. If I put the 3
support blocks as I remember them (picture attached), the keyboard is nice and
sturdy, BUT I cannot fit the top case on - it's either tight on top or bottom,
and if I force it down, the outside functions keys don't work, no matter how
well I align everything.

Sorry for the long post, but I REALLY want to get this assembled properly.
Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong? Are the support blocks in the wrong
spot? Am I missing a step?

  Thanks for any help...
