Hi all,

I’m going to try and make a long story short. I’ve got DeskLink working with my
M102 w/REX. My idea is to create a bunch of REX RAM images grouped by type of
applications, and then just using REXMGR to bring in the applications I need
from each image.

So for BASIC programs this is a cinch. But for machine language programs it’s a
bit trickier. A lot of machine lang programs can be found with a .BA loader
program that ultimately creates the .CO. However I’m wondering how to best
store these in REX. I can transfer the .CO back to DeskLink, and thus bypass
the slow loading .BA.

However, if I transfer the .CO file back to my Tandy, how can I know how to
safely install it again? I’ve tried various methods, but when REXMGR is
installed, I think I am getting conflicts as the machine Cold Boots often.

Can someone give a somewhat non-technical explanation of how to install a .CO
to the correct location in memory, and WHY it must it is done that way?

Best,
~George
