Hello!

I recently acquired a Model 200 and am ecstatic. It was in great shape and
works well. I installed a REX with no issues.

One thing I liked doing on my other system, a M102, is use TELCOM to
connect to a couple of BBSs. I have a Wifi232 modem and it has always
worked VERY well -- no issues. I plug it into the rs232 and issue a STAT
38N1E to configure for 300 baud and it works great.

So when I get my 200 going, I issue the same command STAT 38N1ENN (I added
the last two parameters as I read through the manual and it seems it needs
these) and it accepts the command, no issue. However, it just doesn't work.
I get no response from any key strokes. In fact, it appears the terminal
program just locks up and I power cycle it to get back to the menu.

I thought maybe the rs232 port may be wired differently but the schematics
look the same. So I thought maybe there was something wrong with the rs232
port, but I use it with mComm to use TPDD to transfer stuff with it and it
works fine.

So, is it maybe a difference in TELCOM between the M102 and 200? That's all
I can think of...

Any ideas what might be wrong? I was really hoping to utilize the extra
screen space to BBS!

Thanks!

-Eric
