I just finished up Part 2 of my TRS-80 Model 100 repair video series. In this video a complete re-cap is done, and I found out that some of the electrolytics are non-polarized. A super capacitor is installed in place of the memory backup NiCad and I learned a lot about how they work and how one compares to the original NiCad. Finally, we look at the faulty RAM module to see if the source of the fault can be located, spoiler alert it was a bad RAM chip.
