EME Systems (www.emesystems.com) make "environmental science" devices. In
the day, they were using the M102 as the control computer for their
devices, which at the time were mostly weather monitor/loggers.

They were the inventors of the ROMBO (the semi rigid flex circuit that
wraps around a standard 27C256 EPROM) to put their custom low level driver
code into the Option ROM socket. The ROMBO has a label telling what program
the ROM is used with.

There was also a BASIC program that controlled the computer.

One of the M102 computers I bought used, had the EME OWL ROM in it (the
computer was used to do weather logging), but did not come with the
external hardware (wind speed/direction/temp/humidity/rain gauge) or the
OWL BASIC program. So I erased the EPROM and re-programmed it with the
Polar Systems ROM II code I had from my other M102.

Could be that you have one of the other EME systems EPROMS or that a
previous owner re-programmed it.

Regards,

Peter
