Oops, missed that Jerry was asking to use a TPDD cable to connect to computer.
No reason for that... just use a regular serial RS232 cable, null modem wired. TPDD cables are for connection to TPDD drives. No other particular purpose. TPDD drives use TTL level signals. That's why you need a special cable. Now I will say I have used TPDD cables to connect a TPDD drive to things other than a M100. Like a PC. -- John.
