Might be the port but one more thing to try. Instead of going to basic
and typing the run command do the following.1) Open TEXT with a filename of 
TEENY.DO
2) Press F2 and type COM:98N1E
3) Press the button on mComm to start the inject process.

This will at least let you see what is making it to your machine.
