Would anyone be wise in the ways of Tera Term? I've got it installed on my Win10 laptop, with a USB-Serial cable installed using the correct driver; it's correctly identified as working in Device Manager.
I've cranked up my 102's Terminal, and I've set the comm parameters to 57E1D using STAT, to match Tera Term's 1200 bps serial port parameters. I put the 102 into TERM, choose New Connection in TeraTerm (terminal VT100). But I have no luck in connecting. No characters are sent either way. Could someone talk me through the connection process, start to finish? (By the way, is a null modem needed?) Thanks. Tom M. M102 since 1985.
