Thanks John. Already checked that in Device Manager. In Ports, there are four shown: Com3, Com5, LPT and Com6. Com6 is named Prolific "USB to Serial". Settings are 1200 bps, 7 word, Even parity, 1 stop, xon/off.
Are you asking if one of those ports is shown as "default"? There's no reference or indication of "default" in those four Ports. Tom M.
