Chris, to John’s point also, if you were to get a REX but with only 8K RAM
in your M100, the REX would in effect be quite underutilized.  REX is an
excellent way of backing up RAM into selectable banks - like having
multiple computers in one.  However, if you only have 8K RAM, each REX bank
will likewise only back up 8K of content.  To truly get the most out of
REX, you may want to invest in more RAM first.

I think you’d still be able to have multiple option ROMs on your REX, and
each of those could take up a full 32K REX bank, but your maximum data
memory while using one of those option ROM programs would still only be 8K.
