much much better.  beer on me next time you stop in!

So, I cannot leave stuff alone so I removed D15 (it was broken) and C84.
C85 is a 33uF-10v, I have a Nichion audio grade in stock in that voltage range
(most 33uf in audio is signal path near tone controls so I buy good stuff)  it
was smaller cuz this is the future and it fit well.  The 1S2076 I replaced with
the very robust 1N4148 (1a capable, 1/2 watt so it has twice the capability of
the original plus its very fast recovery - 4ns - twice as fast.  win win win
The corrosion was copper caustic and ate away the top trace for the anode of
the diode, the anode ties to R97 and the negative side of C85 so I left the
thru hole lead long, insulated it and bent it over to the bottom trace where
R97 and C85 tie.

Did a quick put together, added 4 batteries.  and voila.
Id like to say I already hacked into moscow and made fun of putin, but alas a
quick 3 line program to prove it was all I got done.
So now, cassette players are rare, so I will look for some - I got a couple
belt kits and the din plug for cassette? (hopefully mondays auction has the
rest of the machine)
btw - from having the batteries in over the weekend, the nicad is holding
4.2vish.  surprised the heck out of me.  I have a source for nicads....what is
the original spec?
I got my 5th grader into this old tech, taught him gw basic using 'pc basic'
emulator and I already have a 99/4A and a sinclair 1000 so something to keep us
occupied!  (when these came out in 83 I was already in college with a vt52
wired into various decsystems and vax so I never got to play with the post
model1/2 stuff   :-(
I will likely do the recap as per 'hey Birt's video...just not today.

Well, this version is 60MB compared to the 4.5MB version on club100,
so it's at least better :)
