Thank you for the replies. What I have learned about getting / running hterm: --I can download it all compiled. --I must follow the instructions for a successful launch of the .CO file. --Its com parameters are hard coded to 38,400 8N1 rts/cts
More questions: 1. I had no idea this device could go faster then 19,200 as that is the highest rate I had read in the manual. Is 38,400 its top speed? 2. One device I want to connect to is a PK-232-MBX packet TNC which maxes out at 9600 BAUD. I assume I will be OK using the built in terminal ap here? 3. I downloaded two files: HTERM.CO and HTERM.lst. I'm guessing I only need the .CO file and my question is how will I get it transferred into the M102? Using the built in terminal ap? It seems I need to get it on the menu some how. I realize I have not done much reading yet and am asking lots of questions. I hope its OK. Thanks! Adamd
