I did have the same behavior a couple of time on my M100 except I didn't lost any data. What happens IIRC is that when the auto power off kicks in while TEXT is running, when I switch the M100 back on (with power off/power on) the screen is covered with garbage characters. However only the display is corrupted so if I press F8 it exits normally to the MENU, and if I reopen my text file everything is fine. I never had the problem before I got a REX so it's probably related, but it's (at least in my case) a very small problem compared to all the comfort added by the REX. I'm using version 4.9 by the way, and the option ROM was probably TSDOS100 (that's the one I use the most). Eric
