I'm Italian too, here the situation is kinda like a war, people goes crazy, buying food stuff and hand sanitizer gel like never before. Since we Italians Are pretty divide in two parts: "we're gonna die" or "we're gonna sneeze" I think we should not be taken as example. For instance: in almost all the Italian territory, now, it's impossible to find mask, hand sanitizer gel, food... wait, only ONE specific brand of hand sanitizer gel, only ONE type of mask and  if we speak about food, people took everything from the malls, but everything tasty... some type of pasta (and you probably know how much we love pasta) are Still filling the shelf... I'm not saying that there's no problem, I'm saying  that things would go easily if we don't panic! I have a friend in Milan and things went downhill pretty fast there. Me personally-  I am building up some stores of things we need anyways  plus some specific medications we might need if sick with a flu.  Cant purchase masks.. sold out!
