OS is a useless function, in the end.
It was intended to differentiate between option roms and things like CP/M.
In the end, it's just complexity for no point.
I've deleted it from REX#, which I just now got the first hardware working
for.
REX# ("REX Sharp") is a redesign of REX, with simpler, easier to maintain
software (thats a big deal for me) and much easier to build (and lower
cost) hardware.
I've shrunk the CPLD into the next size down, XCR3032XL as well.
I'll be offering REX# for M100, T102, T200 and NEC (and M10 if my plan
works out), and it will be at a discount relative to today's prices.
It will also come with the Brian White PCB2MOLEX carrier.
cheers
Steve
