Epson PX-8 and PX-4 uses the same socket too. But the 200 in the name sure suggests it's for a model 200.
Does it look like a direct DIP chip with no pinout adapter, just the legs bent around the pklastic carrier? Or does it look like it has some form of adapter that re-routes some of the legs to other positions? If there's a pinout adapter, it's probably for a 100, 102, or 200. No pinout adapter is probably for Epson or something completely unrelated. Model 600 also uses the same socket with no pinout adapter, but it's not going to be for 600. Can you take a picture? Do you have a means to read out a copy, or would you be willing to let one of us do it? I would be willing to copy it and mail it back. -- bkw On Sun, Oct 18, 2020, 12:08 PM Victor Roberts <[email protected]> wrote: > I have come across a ROM chip that looks like it may fit the Model 100 > or 102. > > The label on the top reads: > > Practical Computer Technologies > > PCT-MF200 2104 > > A Google search has not turned up anything interesting. > > Does anyone here recognize this ROM? > > Vic Roberts > >
