I like the 80x8 screen and I highly doubt my typing speed or style will be any problem for it. I cannot get anywhere near the 80 wpm that other folks have reported problems at. As for the file format, I am confident I could whip up a couple of C utilities that mimic the dos2unix and unix2dos utils... maybe wp2unix and unix2wp?
