When the LCD is first powered up it will turn all segments black. After the
computer properly initializes the LCD drivers a;; segments will be turned off.
Having them all black would indicate that the LCD drivers are able to address
the individual LCD segments. Since they are not clearing it would seem to
indicate that the drivers are not being initialized properly.

I would start by first doing a hard reset (CTRL+BREAK+reset_button, hold reset
until after machine boots then release). If that does not do anything then make
sure you did not inadvertently bend some pins on the ROM you put back in, etc.
If you get stuck, I do repairs.

This is what my Model 100s screen looks like now. I cold started, removed the
REX and even swapped out another main ROM and no change. I was using TS-DOS to
download files from Dlplus when it happened although I have no idea if that is
the reason. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone do repairs? Sorry to burden everyone
with my problems.
