I just posted a new M100 repair video on YouTube. In this video we take a look at the first of a pair of TRS-80 Model 100s that a friend sent me to repair. We fix up a few issues from his first attempt at a recap job, but hey we all start at the same place and you never learn anything new without trying and practicing. I got led a bit astray at first because I had the current limit on my bench power supply set so low. I have just repaired 4 other M100s with the same test set up though so I did not realize the issue at first. There was a trio of problems that seemed unrelated, but all turned out to have the same root cause. 1. Cassette remote relay caused low power shutdown 2. Corruption on LCD 3.
