My Model 100, which has been the subject of several posts in the past and which has received several repairs is now inoperative once again.

I was experimenting with printout:  When I obtained the M100 a few years ago it came with a dot matrix 105 printer.  There are no more ribbon carts for this printer but I revived the ribbon with some WD-40 and was able to demonstrate printability through the cable from the built-in software.

Today I was trying to see if I could print to a Canon BJ-80 ink-jet I recently revived.  (I had already determined, with a Model 102, that the Canon responded to its PRINT command, although there was incomplete printout.)  I had just loaded the Scripsit 100 software onto the M-100 and created a test document to print onto the Canon.  I moved the M100 from its PSU and cassette connections to the BJ-80 but when I hit the power switch on the M100 I got nothing.

I have tried reset, CTL-SHIFT-BREAK, batteries out, memory backup off, everything I can think of, to no effect.  If there is another thing to try, please advise; otherwise I have bricked it (again) and will have to find a repair.

Thanks,

CTRL-BREAK-RESET

Don't need shift for the break in this case, so it's just 3 fingers, though it's still 2 hands.
