The machines owner says he does have a switch he can send me. The machine had an odd failure mode, it would not turn off, even with a known good keyboard and switch. It turns out it was caused by a bad memory battery causing the system to not reset properly. I have seen M100s et. Al. do strange things with a bad memory battery, but this was a new one on me.
