I’m just guessing here but suspect that TS-DOS is hooking into some of the same
resources that Multiplan tries to hook into. You might try the ‘DOS OFF’ button
before trying to run Multiplan.

Subject: [M100] Conflict with Backpack SD drive

All, just when I thought I was over my challenges with my MS multiplan ROM.

As was explained to me in great detail (thanks you!) that this ROM does have
some atypical characteristics, like forcing a cold reset upon install or
removal.

I was excited to just purchase and receive one of the backpack SD card units
that simulates a TPDD. IT works great but….

Here is where I need help from the experts, something about its bootstrap
installation of TS-DOS, which By the way I cannot seem to find any instruction,
manual or otherwise on how to uninstall this bootstrap! But regardless, it
does something in RAM that now conflicts with my multiplan ROM ☹

Multiplan will not run if the TS-DOS is installed per the instructions for the
backpack, if I cold reset, then multiplan will run fine, but as soon as I
install the SD card bootstrap, when I enter multiplan it just returns me to
the menu

Thanks in advance for any assistance, I am hoping I can identify the conflict
and load the TS-DOS in a different location ?!?

Model 102 BTW
