About 5 or 6 years ago, I tried to purchase from them, but my credit card
issuer (Capitol One) would never approve the transaction. Likely as a fraud
protection.

Then Alibaba started accepting PayPal, and that worked, even though I still
used the same credit card. Didn't have a problem with the seller, other
than it took longer to complete the transaction than it would have going
through eBay even though the seller was in China. Only bought one thing
through Alibaba (a capacitor-discharge battery welder) because it was the
only way to get it.
