I would think you would need a corpus of BASIC code to load into the
context window. Maybe the M100SIG and Club 100 . Some of the better M100
programming books (Hidden Powers and Inside the Model 100)

As to assembly code I doubt it's going to be very good since there just
isn't that much of it around. But there's a lot of C code. Maybe generate C
subroutines then compile them with z88dk or another compiler. Or convert
them to assembly yourself.

I like the ideas of others as to making a local model. I think it would be
neat to make a bad 80s programmer working in an archaic language for a
vintage platform based on code people used to share freely.

Seems like there's a thesis project for some student in that, reviving old
sometimes abandoned hardware with new applications made with AI.

I have use of Google Gemini and have had it generate decent embedded C code
and a web app. I was able to get free access as a student since I am
enrolled in classes at a community college.
