Yes, I plan to to get everyone's patches / additions pulled in to a 2.0
release.
Will keep the list notified when I start (have travel plans after
Christmas through new years and then have to attend CES in Vegas for
work the week of Jan 5th. But after that I will have time for sure.

Fantastic news! Please do let me know if any of the patches I've been
hoarding are helpful.
In particular I'd love to see the macOS keyboard fix upstreamed or
cloned if nothing else. VT is effectively unusable without them. The
minor fixes for aarch64 I've got have been helpful to me but may break
things for folks who use libraries from Homebrew on Intel hardware.
Those I could clean up and submit if you like.
