Excellent work! Is a T200 version in the works?
The normal MiniNDP that's been out a few years already is for 102 and
200 in the first place. (and the original DATAPAC and RAMPAC)
And the new 4-bank RAMDSK builds for 100, 200, & K85.
This DIP-40 u1M version is just new to fit 100 and KC-85.
It was possible all along to use the 102/200 version on a 100 with a
ribbon cable. The cable is actually simple to make, but it's still a
ribbon cable, not something you'd actually want to use.
(Just crimp an IDC DIP-40 and a regular IDC 40 pin female normally, no
weird twists or transpositions or anything, and that replicates the bus
connector on the back of 102 & 200. One of the 3 parts in my 3-part
Disk/Video Interface cable is just that.)
By the way, the photos make it look like you are using machined (round)
pins in a socket designed for pressed (flat) pins.
Yes, the bus socket is the machined round type on both 100 and KC-85, so
it's *much* less grief for the builder to be able to use standard pins
instead of what it takes to make thinner legs.
I do have some directions for 3 different ways to make thin legs for
exactly the reason you say for other boards, but each method is a pain
in it's own way, requiring some form of manual fiddling to get it to
come out right. So it's worth avoiding unless you actually need it.

So if you did actually have say a hacked 100 that had a replacement leaf
style socket, you could just use any of the options in that gist instead.
