Hi, Answering my own question here, I was able to get m2eclipse working with Rational Application Developer 8 (RAD8) by first installing the Equinox Target Components from the http://download.eclipse.org/releases/heliosupdate site and then using the m2eclipse update site http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/updates/M to install m2eclipse.
