I've uploaded m2e 1.1 M7 to m2e milestone release repository [1]. This is the first milestone to include maven 3.0.4 as the default embedded runtime so pay attention to differences in dependency resolution, memory footprint and other maven-related oddities. FWIW, I've been using the new embedder for last few weeks without any problems I was able to track to the new embedder.
