I suggest you take a look at the following

basically you need to import the project as a Maven project type.

I was recently informed that I have my projects in "Standard Directory Layout",

 How the f*** do I import em into Ecllipse? I have installed AIM and m2e but I 
cannot see how can they help me to import the projects.
