Hi Fred,
I already have installed build helper m2e extension.

But I forget to say an important thing: this project is a eclipse plugin.

Now I could make it work properly. There is no need of build-helper-maven-plugin, I just need to do this in build.properties:

source.. = src/main/java/,\
           src-gen/

thanks for answer anyway...

regards,

Cristiano

    Hi,

    I would like to know how configure m2e to deal with alternative
    source folders and add them to build path.

    I've setup the plugin below, but every time that I update the
    project it removes the source from the build path.

    <plugins>
    <plugin>
    <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
    <artifactId>build-helper-maven-plugin</artifactId>
    <executions>
    <execution>
    <phase>generate-sources</phase>
    <goals>
    <goal>add-source</goal>
    </goals>
    <configuration>
    <sources>
    <source>${project.build.directory}/src-gen</source>
    </sources>
    </configuration>
    </execution>
    </executions>
    </plugin>
    </plugins>

    thanks,

    Cristiano
