still present in CVS head?

Unfortunately, this is not good enough for the lawyers.  See the
information at
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/maintain.html#Copyright-Papers.  I don't
(yet) have access to the form you will need to fill in to start the
copyright process; Gary, can you get John started?
