Hi,

Almost the same results as Sébastien here :

- -it works with kopete in ubuntu $last-version;

- -it works with cheese, I made a screenshot with it :

http://chm.duquesne.free.fr/divers/images/cheese.jpg

As you see, by default, I'm upside down (same thing with kopete and
livecam) and there are colors (relatively poor).

- -it does *not* work with vlc :

$vlc v4l:// :v4l-vdev="/dev/video0" :v4l-adev="" :v4l-norm=3
:v4l-frequency=-1
VLC media player 0.8.6e Janus
[00000294] v4l demuxer error: cannot get capabilities (Invalid argument)
[00000320] pulse audio output error: Failed to connect to server:
Connection refused
[00000320] pulse audio output error: Pulse initialization failed
[00000283] main playlist: stopping playback

I don't know if this is due to pulse audio or to the cam driver. As I
didn't specified any audio device in the command line, vlc should start
only with the video... And there's this "cannot get capabilities"
message from v4l demuxer... so I don't know if it's the driver or not.

That's all.

Thank you guys and have a good week end!

BR

PS : Is it still in alpha state? Because I said on ubuntu-fr I would
write a tutorial, but only once the developpers would consider this
driver as a bit more stable.
