Hi,
The final brightness/illumination of a picture is also affected by the
sensor registers associated w/ the number of integration rows and by
the row reset delay (i.e, exposure time). These two registers almost
exist in all the sensors. Manipulating the gain registers uniformly
helps too to get a brighter picture even in a low light environment.
