Hi Jabka, I have the m5602 chip with a s5k83a sensor. With this driver the camera still is very sensitve to light, i.e. the picture becomes really disturbed, when the room is to light. This is a known issue. When it is very light, I also get only a thin line (http://www.personal.uni-jena.de/~x0ebni/snapshot_rev192_0.jpg), when it is darker, I get a better picture (http://www.personal.uni-jena.de/~x0ebni/snapshot1_rev192_1.jpg). Maybe you could try your cam with the m5602-s5k83a branch in a darker room again?
