I called the marketing manager today. The current state is as follows:

- They still cannot release the product datasheets for m5602/m5603 due
to company policy. The manager is still trying to get permission from
the company. He acknowledges that these are older chips, but still
concerns the IC design, which are trade secrets.

- Newer chips from this company (he said 5607, I think) will support
Linux natively through the UVC standard. They have ensured
compatability with the 2.6 kernel.

- Currently there are no plans for m5602/m5603 to be supported under
Linux due to resource restrictions.

- They actually visited our project page!
