If you can use USB flash drive, i suppose you have already made all this
following settings :

Modify /etc/init.d/mountdevsubfs.sh
Uncomment the 4 lines around line 40 after "Magic to make /proc/bus/usb
work"

Add this line in fstab :
none /proc/bus/usb usbfs devgid=1000,devmode=664 0 0

Verify you are in vboxusers group.
Configure usb in virtualbox
Install add-ons clients for vbox in your virtual XP system.


I am not on my computer with my Ali Cam so i'm not sure that works with
it.
