Hi Laurent. I have same problem with my sensor (s5k83a). I mean that is problem in sensor_read / sensor_write function, because sensor_read return bad value many times (different from writed value). Erik work on ctrl cache for all sensors now. It could help with this problem... I will test his patch for my sensor today evening.
