[m5sim-users] Does M5 need program static linked?

Thanks for help me out from install error. I find that in FC4 there is no such 
error, maybe it has a higer version of Mysql.
Now I am compiling my program with alpha cross compiler. Since there are some 
simulators which require  programs static linked when compiling, I wonder if M5 
has some special requirement in compiling or linking ?
