Thanks, I'll look for those too. There are a few gaps in the web
instructions on building a kernel image but I am working around them.

I don't think so... there are instructions on the web site somewhere
(let us know if you can't find them).
additionally, there are also instructions in the archives of this
mailing list somewhere that would probably be useful.
