Adam,
It is possible to have bigger disk images, but you'll have to both
modify the script to allow more heads and cylinders as well as
modifying the way the IdeDisk does it's mapping to get over the 8GB
boundary. As for the specifics you'll probably have to read the ATA/
ATAPI-5 and PIIX specification. Additionally, depending on your
platform you may run into problems seeking to that point in the file
although I think anything that uses gnu libc should be fine.
