Directory Based coherence has not yet been implemented in M5 yet. The current status is that for the version 2.0 release, which we expect to make soon, we have reworked the object->object interface in the memory system. With a more modular form of communication it should make defining other forms of interconnect easier. For more details of the port interface (new way to connect memory objects) take a look at the slides from this years tutorial which should be posted on the web page soon.

Hi,

Has directory-based coherence and/or non-bus interconnects made it out
of last year's "wish list" yet? (see
http://m5.eecs.umich.edu/dist/tutorial.pdf). If not, could someone
please provide a status report.

Thanks,
