My binaries are statically linked but still I am getting the halt instruction with the SimpleCPU and deadlock with the Detailed. I want to simulate 5B instructions but m5stats.txt show that less than hundred have been run.
I dont know what I could be doing wrong. Any ideas. What could be the reason that my instructions are not going to completion and encountering halt.
