Hi Chaitali,

I don't know how this got in there, but here's a fix:

go into your linux-dist tree, and change rules/m5bench.in. it should source
pthread-mutex.in, not pthread_mutex.in

then, redo your make install, and follow along the old instructions from
there. i'll repost a fixed tarball to the website.

Hi Lisa,

I have downloaded the linux-dist.tgz from the m5
website and untarred it. I have created a directory
"diskimage" in the "m5_2.0" directory and performed
the following steps -

    (i) cd linux-dist
    (ii)./configure --prefix=$HOME/m5_2.0/diskimage
    (iii) make
    (iv) make install

After these steps, the bin and lib directories were
created within "diskimage".

Then I did the following steps -

    (i) set path to point to
$HOME/m5_2.0/diskimage/bin
    (ii) ptxdist clone m5-alpha ptxworkspace
    (iii) cd ptxworkspace
    (iv) ptxdist menuconfig

When I did the step (ii) above, I got a warning -
"ptxdist: scanning ${PTXCONF_SETUP_PROJECTDIR}...not
    found"

And when I did "ptxdist menuconfig", I got the error -

    "ptxdist: menuconfig...
    rules/m5bench.in:7: can't open file
    "rules/pthread_mutex.in"
    ptxdist: silentoldconfig...
    rules/m5bench.in:7: can't open file
    "rules/pthread_mutex.in"
    ptxdist: saving ptxconfig
    ptxdist: cleanup..."

Please let me know what I am doing wrong ?

Regards-
Chaitali
