The binaries you downloaded will work in SE mode only. They're compiled
against an m5-specific modified version of the Tru64 pthreads library.
If you want to run the benchmarks in Linux FS mode you'll have to
recompile them for Alpha Linux (e.g. with a cross compiler, or on a
native Alpha if you have one). The good news is that you shouldn't need
to do anything m5-specific; the same binaries that you run on a real
Alpha Linux machine should work under m5 Linux FS mode.

Hi,
I have successfully installed and run m5v1.1 in full
system mode. I can run the benchmark (i.e. SPEC2000 bzip2)
in FS mode.
But I can't run Splash 2 on M5v1.1_FS_mode, and get the following
error messege.
# ./FFT -t -m4 -p2
%DECthreads bugcheck (version V3.18-037), terminating execution.
% Reason: Unable to provide multithreading support (12)
% Running on Linux 2.6.11.8(#23 SMP Wed Jun 29 01:42:18 EDT ) on , 0Mb; 0 CPUs,
pid 895
I get the Splash2 binary in the following link.
http://www.m5sim.org/dist/m5_benchmarks/v1-splash-alpha.tgz
And this binary is copied on the disk image.
How can I run the Splash2 benchmark in FS mode ?
Thanks,
