The M5 team would like to announce the availability of the second beta
for m5 2.0. This release is a major bugfix release over the previous beta
and should hopefully fix many of the problems that people have been
experiencing.
Some highlights:
- Many cache issues resolved
- Uni-coherence fixes in full-system
- Proper LL/SC Support
- Draining/Switchover
- Functional Accesses
- Bus now has real timing
- Single config file for all SpecCPU2000 benchmarks
- Several other minor bug fixes and enhancements
Outstanding issues for 2.0 release:
- Multiprocessor linux boot using the detailed O3 CPU model
